"The Advertiser/Seller hereby acknowledges and agrees that he has read and fully understands the Meat Safety Act, 40 of 2000, more specifically Section 7 which relates to the slaughter of animals for human consumption. The Advertiser/Seller further indemnifies Game Meat Trading (Pty) Ltd ("GMT"), its Director(s), Affiliate(s) and/or other inter-related parties (officers, employees, advisers, managers and agents) from and against any losses, claims, costs, illness, damages and expenses of whatsoever nature which GMT may suffer, incur or sustain as a result of the Advertiser/Seller's non-compliance with the relevant and applicable legislation. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, the amount of damages recoverable by GMT against the Advertiser/Seller, will not be capped to the amount of the Product so advertised and sold and the Advertiser/Seller may be held liable for indirect, special and/or consequential damages, including economic loss (loss of profits). The Advertiser/Seller acknowledges that GMT is acting as a conduit/third party facilitator in a transaction whereby goods are sold to Customers and the Advertiser/Seller will be liable for any Product defects under this indemnity in line with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"). The Advertiser/Seller acknowledges that Personal Information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act ("POPI") may be shared with GMT and consents to the collection, use, reasonable storage, retention and deletion thereof, as far as it may be applicable."
